Whalen is a multi-instrument loop musician and vocalist, mixing genres from folk-rock, to classical, to indie, in his own unique genre! Whalen has booked all across Colorado, from cozy bars to opulent resorts, singing storyteller songs with catchy hooks, and experimenting with the limits of what he can do with music!

"The Legendary Kathouse Pickers is a six piece acoustic music experience that touches on many genres and spans almost a century of pop music, all with an olde thyme feel. They actively engage their audience with an expansive selection of covers from artists such as Merl Haggard, MenAtWork, Otis Redding, Smokey Robinson, Linda Ronstadt, Steve Miller and an array of traditional american standards. They also write and arrange their own original songs such as " Kathouse Breakdown, Louie Up A Tree, and Jordans Stomp."
